WHEN IN THE WOODS

Brothers Steven and Alex go to the woods to spread the ashes of their Brother, Levi.

"I first got inspired to write WHEN IN THE WOODS while I was driving down an old highway along the Oregon Coast, where there are a number of fatalities every year. Driving on this highway, passing by clusters of crosses honoring those who had lost their lives—Some crosses old, chipping, and mossy; some freshly painted and lavishly decorated with flowers, stuffed animals, and balloons—I couldn’t help but think of those left behind in the aftermath of death, and how we process grief. WHEN IN THE WOODS is a story of overcoming such grief, and ultimately, it is a story of acceptance of that which we cannot change."
